Terms and conditions
This is a translation of the Dutch original. In case of any differences, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Applicability
These terms apply to all quotations, assignments and agreements between Tjenzen (Lars Jansen, Dutch Chamber of Commerce 99344157) and the client, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Quotations
Quotations are valid for thirty days, unless stated otherwise. An assignment is established as soon as the client has confirmed the quotation in writing or by email.
3. Execution
I carry out assignments carefully and to the best of my ability. The client provides the necessary information, materials and access on time. Stated deadlines are estimates and not strict deadlines, unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
4. Changes and additional work
If the client wants to expand or change the assignment, we first discuss the consequences for planning and costs. I only charge for additional work after the client has agreed.
5. Payment
Invoices must be paid within fourteen days of the invoice date. For larger or long-running assignments I may invoice in instalments.
6. Intellectual property
Rights to designs, texts and other work remain with Tjenzen until everything has been paid in full. After that, the client receives the right to use the work for the purpose agreed in the assignment, unless we agree on a full transfer. I may show the work in my portfolio, unless we have agreed on confidentiality.
7. Confidentiality
I treat the client's information confidentially and do not share it with third parties, except when necessary for the assignment or required by law.
8. Cancellation
If the client cancels an assignment, I charge for the work already carried out and the costs already incurred.
9. Liability
My liability is limited to the invoice amount of the assignment from which the damage arises. I am not liable for indirect damage, such as consequential loss or lost profit, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
10. Applicable law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law. We will first try to resolve any disputes together.
